The Board of Directors of Hilburn & Harper, Ltd. is pleased to announce that Clara Rankin, Lily Ryles and Isabella Schmidt-Pestka have passed their Arkansas Bar exams and joined the firm as associates.
Clara Rankin practices family and probate law. Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Rankin obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She went on to earn her law degree from UALR William H. Bowen School of Law. Rankin worked for the firm as a law clerk where she partnered with attorneys on a range of family law matters and research before joining as an attorney.
Lily Ryles practices various aspects of civil litigation, commercial law, debtor-creditor relations and bankruptcy. Raised in Little Rock, Ryles earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Management and Marketing Minor from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She then attended UALR William H. Bowen School of Law where she earned her law degree. Lily has experience as a clerk for various law firms in Little Rock and has externed under Chief Bankruptcy Judge Phyllis M. Jones.
Isabella Schmidt-Pestka practices in the areas of civil litigation, real estate, probate, and family law. Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Schmidt-Pestka earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. After furthering her studies in Spanish at Universidad de Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain, she returned to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and obtained a Masters in Business Administration. Schmidt-Pestka went on to obtain her law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law.
