Davidson and Wells Named Partners at Hilburn & Harper, Ltd.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 25, 2021)

The Board of Directors of Hilburn & Harper, Ltd, Attorneys at Law, is pleased to announce that two attorneys have been elected into partnership: Kate C. Davidson and Megan L. Wells. Davidson’s expertise lies in the practice areas of commercial and real estate transactions as well as commercial litigation support, and Wells’ is in the practice area of domestic  relations with significant trial experience. Davidson and Wells have each demonstrated dedication and  loyalty to the firm, its clients, and communities following their compilation of excellent academic credentials in their undergraduate and law school educations.

A Benton native, Davidson attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in economics. She earned a law degree at the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, where she served as managing editor of the UALR Law Review.  Davidson is well-versed in a variety of aspects of commercial law, including complex civil litigation, real estate law, transactional law, bankruptcy and secured transactions. She is a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Bryant, the Central Arkansas Board of Junior Achievement Arkansas, the Arkansas Bar Association, and the Pulaski County Bar Association.

Originally from Ruston, Louisiana, Wells received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University  before she moved to Little Rock to pursue law. She earned a law degree at the UA Little Rock William H.  Bowen School of Law.

Wells has a passion for family law and transitioned into a position as a family law attorney upon passing  the Arkansas Bar Exam, after clerking at the firm beginning in 2014. She coaches soccer for Arkansas United, is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and serves on the board for the Pulaski County Bar Association.
