About
Joseph Manfredi is from Monmouth County NJ, home of the famed New Jesey “Shore” area. Joe graduated from Kean University where he was a Deans List Student and New York Law School where he was a member of the school’s National Moot Court Team and research assistant to the Dean. Upon graduation from Law School, he served a clerkship in the United States District Court for the District of NJ for U.S. Magistrate Judge G. Donald Haneke. Upon completion of his clerkship, he practiced at the national firm of FBT Gibbons, and thereafter Hartlaub and Dotten before founding his own firm in 2000.
Since 1992 Mr. Manfredi had served as legal counsel to housing authorities and non-profit affordable housing Corporations. He has represented these clients in all aspects of their operations including all forms of HUD compliance, public bidding, corporate governance, contracts, procurement, and redevelopment, labor, employment and union negotiations and bargaining agreements. He has served as Special HUD and General Counsel to large Public Housing Authorities under HUD control and oversight.
Mr. Manfredi has also served as an instructor for courses in public housing law in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
In his spare time, he enjoys music and boating.
