Do you have to have grounds for a divorce?

In Arkansas, you must have grounds for a divorce. There are seven grounds for divorce. They are: impotence, general indignities, felony conviction, adultery, living separate and apart for 18 months, insanity, and failure to support. Most attorneys use general indignities to file for divorce. This encompasses a whole host of problems in a marriage, each standing alone are not enough to get a divorce, but when put together entitles a person to a divorce.
