Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if someone has broken a promise or breached a contract with me?

If you believe someone with whom you have entered into an agreement has failed to live up his or her end of that agreement, you may have a case against that person for breach of contract. Contracts for the purchase of sale of goods, in particular, are governed by Arkansas' version of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). The UCC is a detailed code of laws that governs every aspect of certain types of commercial transactions. You should contact an attorney experienced in contract law in order to review the circumstances surrounding your case, and to help you determine if in fact you have a case against the breaching party.
